FS 2004 Mustang P51 D Short Fuse Sallee

 

A repaint of the outstanding P-51D by Warwick Carter for FS2004. You need the original file "p51dver2.zip", this archive contains a texture set only.

 

This repaint represents "Short Fuse Sallee", the third Mustang of the same name flown by then Capt. Richard Eugene Turner of Cushing, Oklahoma. The markings on this North American P-51D-15-NA belong to the 356th Fighter Squadron of the 354th Fighter Group, 9th USAAF. Lt. Col. Turner survived the war and was credited with 11 air-to-air victories and numerous air-to-ground victories.

Wozza's P-51 has become one of my top 5 favorite aircraft for FS9. I hope you enjoy flying "Short Fuse Sallee" as much as I enjoyed painting it!
