FS X P 38 Lost Squadron Glacier Girls

This is a repaint of the AH P-38 series, this is a beautiful moidel with lots of aninations and extras. Agreat joy to fly. Thank you AH for such a GREAT plane ! ! !

This is a repaint of the  "Lost Squadron" Glacier Girls historic return flight "Operation Bolero II", as named after the flight she was going to make. She had engine trouble at Goose Bay Alaska and could not finish the flight.

I wanted to do do a repaint for her flight and could not think of one, so now I came up with this.This is kinda simple repaint, I used my lighter OD, and added the "Lost Squadron "Offical" Patch. I placed the patch on the nose and named it "Operation Bolero II" after the flight. I used the same serial or tail number as GG, but added a higer number ie ....#17631, hers is 17630. I also put "Bolero II" on the drop tanks... like I saw in the one movie on her leaveing California on her flight with the mustang.
