FS2004 FSX VA-81 Sunliners texture for IRIS A-7 freeware

This texture is for the IRIS A-7E freeware. This will work in fs2004 and fsx. I've included a revised vc texture along with this pack.

This aircraft nose number 403 BuNo 160417, was assigned to VA-81 Sunliners and flew until it's retirement in 1989.

I was assigned to VA-81 just prior to the transition to the F/A-18C Hornets, so I got a chance to "play" with the SLUF (and that stands for Slow Low Ugly F#@%^&) or as we in the A-7 community used to call it "the flying dump truck" The A-7 had the glideslope of a brick, but, it would haul any ordnance you could hang on it. And I've seen it haul 4 MER's (Multiple Ejector Racks)with 6 MK-82s (500 lb. bombs) for a total of 24 mk-82s. 6 tons of ordnance. At the time there were only 2 other planes that could carry that much. The venerable A-6 Intruder and the B-52.

Enough about that. To add the textures to your sim, just unzip the texture.VA81 and add it to your Iris A-7E parent folder. Then copy and paste the following lines to your aircraft cfg. replace the "x" with the next number in line.
