The Jv-131 was a Grumman Hellcat Mk-I (originally to have been Gannet Mk-I) of the Fleet Air Arm, corresponding to the F6F3. This aircraft was probably with the 800 NAS aboard the HMS Emperor on September 10, 1945 when the carrier sailed into Singapore harbor to restore British rule.
