Ship based & catapulted scout/observation, single-motor biplane and mixed design, metal and wood, with  two floats. It was designed by "nederlandse vliegtuigenfabrik Fokker" under direction of F.Henttsena.

The first C.XI-w has its maiden flight in July, 20th, 1935 the production was conducted with 1938 at afactory "Fokker" in Amsterdam.
